Refund & Cancellation Policy
Canada Growth Partners Advisory Inc.
Effective Date: October 16, 2026
Last Updated: October 16, 2026
1. Purpose and Scope
Canada Growth Partners Advisory Inc. (“Canada Growth Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides business support, branding and graphic design, website design, digital marketing, website maintenance, and related services.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains our payment, deposit, cancellation, and refund terms for projects, monthly services, and annual memberships.
By purchasing our services, you agree to the applicable terms disclosed at the time of purchase, subject to your rights under applicable law. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and any applicable quotation, proposal, or membership agreement.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right to a refund or other remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
2. Project Deposits and Payments
2.1 Required Deposit
A 60% deposit is required for applicable project-based services before work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The remaining 40% will be payable according to the payment schedule stated in the applicable quotation, proposal, or service agreement.
The deposit reserves project resources and supports initial planning, scheduling, research, administration, and project preparation.
2.2 Deposit Cancellation Terms
Once work on a project has commenced, the 60% deposit is non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This condition reflects the commitment of professional time, project resources, and work undertaken after the project begins.
If a client cancels before work starts, any refund will be assessed in accordance with the applicable agreement, costs already incurred, and applicable law.
Where a refund or other remedy is required by law, that legal requirement will take precedence over this policy.
2.3 Outstanding Balances
Clients remain responsible for payments due for work completed, approved additional services, and other amounts payable under their agreement.
If the project scope changes, additional charges may apply. Any material changes to fees or deliverables will be communicated and agreed upon in accordance with the applicable agreement.
3. Monthly Services and Memberships
3.1 Monthly Billing
Monthly memberships and recurring services are billed according to the selected plan and the terms disclosed at purchase.
Clients may request cancellation at any time, subject to any mandatory legal requirements or specific contractual obligations.
3.2 Immediate Cancellation
Monthly cancellations take effect immediately upon confirmation by Canada Growth Partners.
Once the cancellation takes effect:
The membership or recurring service will be cancelled.
Access to membership benefits and services will end immediately, subject to any rights that must be provided by law.
No refund or prorated credit will be issued for the unused portion of the current monthly billing period, except where required by law or otherwise agreed in writing.
Any outstanding amounts for services already provided or other valid obligations remain payable.
Clients should ensure that they have downloaded any materials they are entitled to retain before cancellation takes effect.
3.3 Services Outside the Membership
Work separately quoted or purchased outside a monthly membership will be governed by the relevant project agreement and the project deposit terms in Section 2.
Cancelling a membership does not automatically cancel a separate project or outstanding contractual obligation.
4. Annual Memberships and Early Cancellation
4.1 Annual Membership Payments
Clients who purchase an annual membership may qualify for a discounted annual price compared with paying the standard monthly rate.
Where offered, the annual membership discount and applicable services will be disclosed before purchase.
Annual memberships may provide access to discounted projects, included services, or other benefits that would otherwise be charged at standard rates.
4.2 Annual Cancellation and Refund Eligibility
Clients may request cancellation of an annual membership before the end of the annual term.
Where an annual cancellation qualifies for a refund under the applicable agreement and law, Canada Growth Partners will calculate the refund based on the annual payment received and the value of services and benefits already used.
Annual membership refunds are not automatically calculated by simply refunding the unused months at the discounted annual rate. Where an early cancellation follows the use of discounted services or project benefits, the value of those benefits will be considered in the refund calculation.
4.3 How Annual Refunds Are Calculated
To determine any refund, we will:
Identify the amount paid for the annual membership.
Calculate the standard, non-discounted value of the services and project benefits actually delivered or used, including applicable project discounts received through the membership.
Account for any other properly disclosed charges or third-party costs that are contractually payable and legally deductible.
Subtract the applicable amounts from the annual payment received.
The calculation will not count the same service or benefit twice.
Refund calculation:
Annual membership payment received
− Standard value of services and benefits used
− Other applicable, disclosed and legally deductible charges
= Potential refund
If the calculated amount is zero or less, no refund will be payable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
4.4 Example: Annual Membership with a 20% Discount
Suppose a client pays $1,920 for an annual membership after receiving a 20% annual payment discount.
During the membership, the client receives projects and services that would ordinarily cost $1,200 at standard, non-discounted rates.
| Calculation | Amount |
|---|---|
| Annual membership payment | $1,920 |
| Standard value of services used | −$1,200 |
| Potential refund before other applicable adjustments | $720 |
This is an illustrative example only. The actual refund will depend on the membership purchased, the services used, the applicable agreement, and any legally required adjustments.
The purpose of this calculation is to account for the value already received, rather than allowing a client to retain discounted project benefits and receive a refund that does not reflect those benefits.
4.5 Annual Cancellation Requests
To request cancellation of an annual membership, clients must contact Canada Growth Partners in writing.
The request should include the client’s name, business name if applicable, membership plan, purchase details, and requested cancellation date.
We will review the request and provide a written explanation of any refund calculation, including the services and benefits considered.
Any refund that is due will be processed within the period required by applicable law or, where no specific period applies, within a reasonable period after approval.
5. Website Design and Development
Website design and development projects may include planning, design, development, content placement, testing, and launch preparation.
Project deposits are subject to Section 2.
Once work begins, cancellation does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.
Work completed, approved expenses, and contractual payment obligations will be considered when determining any amount payable or refundable.
Additional functionality, pages, revisions, or services outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
Domain registrations, hosting, premium themes, plugins, software licences, and other third-party purchases may be subject to separate provider terms.
If a deliverable materially fails to meet the agreed specifications, clients should notify us in writing so that we can review the issue and determine an appropriate remedy under the agreement and applicable law.
6. Branding and Graphic Design
Branding and graphic design services may include logo design, brand identity development, social media graphics, marketing materials, and print design.
Because these services involve customized creative work:
Project deposits are subject to Section 2.
Completed work is not automatically refundable because a client changes their mind or prefers a different design direction.
Included revisions are limited to the scope stated in the applicable package or proposal.
Additional revisions or material changes may incur additional fees.
Concerns about missing or materially non-conforming deliverables will be reviewed in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
Clients are responsible for checking proofs, spelling, business names, contact information, and other supplied details before approving final materials.
7. Business Registration and Administrative Support
Fees for business registration assistance and related services may cover consultations, document preparation, application assistance, administrative work, and other agreed deliverables.
If a client cancels after work has started, the applicable project terms, work performed, third-party costs, and legal requirements will be considered when determining any refund.
Government fees, filing charges, and other third-party expenses may be non-refundable under the relevant provider’s rules.
Canada Growth Partners does not guarantee that a government agency or other third party will approve an application or complete processing within a particular timeframe.
8. Digital Marketing Services
Digital marketing services may include social media graphics, captions, blog writing, content calendars, business profile support, marketing reports, and other agreed deliverables.
Fees for work already completed are not automatically refundable because a client does not achieve a particular sales figure, number of leads, engagement level, search ranking, or other marketing result.
For ongoing monthly services, Section 3 applies. For annual memberships, Section 4 applies where relevant.
Advertising budgets, external subscriptions, and third-party platform charges are governed by the applicable agreement and provider terms.
9. Website Maintenance Services
Website maintenance services may include updates, backups, monitoring, technical support, troubleshooting, and other tasks specified in the selected plan.
Monthly maintenance cancellations are governed by Section 3. Annual memberships that include maintenance are governed by Section 4, where applicable.
Fees for maintenance already provided are not automatically refundable because a client chooses to discontinue the service.
Domain, hosting, premium software, and other third-party charges may be subject to separate cancellation and refund conditions.
10. Third-Party Purchases and Expenses
Third-party products and services may include domain names, hosting, software licences, premium plugins, stock assets, payment processing, and government filing fees.
Refund eligibility for these purchases may depend on the relevant provider’s terms.
Where a third-party expense has already been paid or a non-cancellable commitment has been incurred, it may not be recoverable. Any amount charged to a client must be consistent with the applicable agreement and law.

12. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned through the original payment method where practicable.

If you believe a service has not been delivered according to the agreed terms, contact us in writing with details of the concern.
We will review the agreement, deliverables, project records, and relevant correspondence to determine an appropriate resolution.

Clients retain any statutory rights and remedies available to them.

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy to reflect changes to our services, membership plans, payment arrangements, or legal obligations.
